The Annapurna Circuit adventure starts early in the morning from Kathmandu at around 7 AM. Leaving Kathmandu, the roads follow the Prithivi Highway along the Trishuli River to reach Dumre. From here, the road heads toward Besisahar offering breathtaking views of terraced fields and diverse landscapes.

Besisahar is a small town at the base of the hill, serving as a gateway to the popular Narphu Valley Trek and Tilicho Lake Trek. Once you reach here, explore the town and interact with locals and fellow travelers. Overnight at Besisahar

From Thorongla Phedi, It takes around 4 hours to reach the top, where you’ll be rewarded with mesmerizing Panoramic views of mountain peaks including Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV(7525m), Gangapurna(7455m), Tilicho Peak(7134m), Thorong La Peak(6144m), Dhaulagiri(8167m), Nilgiri(7061m), Annapurna south(7219m) and so on.

After enjoying a brief time at the top with a packed breakfast, descend along the slope towards Muktinath, elevated at 3800 m.

Muktinath, a sacred destination for both Hindus and Buddhists, is a well-known tourist destination. Within the Mutinath Temple Complex, there is a Buddhist monastery, multiple Hindu shrines, 108 bathing spouts, and an eternal flame.

The day starts with an early morning visit to the holy Muktinath Temple. After having breakfast at around 7 AM, the last day on a trekking trail begins.   • Be prepared physically by doing some physical and breathing exercises before the trek.
  • Take your time while climbing in high altitude.

Teahouses and Lodges along the Annapurna Round Trail

Accommodation during the Annapurna Circuit Trekking is mostly Teahouses and Lodges (Besisahar). Our package includes an 11-night mountain teahouse stay on a sharing basis. These teahouses provide simple facilities like twin beds with blankets, pillows, and mattresses. Likewise, in the lower part of the Annapurna Region, there is a high chance of getting attached bathrooms, otherwise, in high altitude shared bathrooms are the only option.

Transportation during the Annapurna Trip

To reach the starting point of this Annapurna Round Trek, you have to drive from Kathmandu to Beshisahar and Chame. On the first day, the trekking guide will take you to Gongabu Bus Park to catch the local bus to Besi Sahar. Then, the next day, arrive at Chame in a Sharing Jeep.

As you cross the Thorang La Pass and continue the journey via Muktinath to Jomsom. From here, taking a Public Bus or Sharing a Jeep will bring you to Tatopani (Natural Hotspring), followed by another bus drive to Pokhara the next day to conclude the Annapurna Circuit Trek Route.

Note: Our 12-Day Annapurna Circuit Trek included a Public Bus from Kathmandu-Besisahar-Chame and Jomsom-Tatopani-Pokhara. However, a Private Jeep can be arranged with an extra price if you want a luxury drive.

Drinking Water, Electricity, and Internet in Teahouses

Drinking water is available throughout the trekking trail of Annapurna. However, we suggest using a water purification tablet if you want to drink water directly from the local tap or natural spring. Moreover, filtered water to fill up your bottle in teahouses is also possible at an extra cost.

Drinking water, the facility of electricity, and internet are available in the teahouses. But they incur extra charges for using the internet and charging your devices. For each service, it can cost $2-5 depending on the time you use it.
