Mohare Danda Trek vs Poon Hill Trek

Poonhill(3210m) and Mohare Danda(3300m) are the vantage points offering spectacular mountain views and natural beauty.

Poon hill is a well-established and popular trek, attracting many tourists every year. On the other hand, Mohare Danda is a newly opened route, offering a less-crowded and peaceful trekking experience. The trekking route passes through traditional villages, showcasing the sustainable community-based tourism, whereas Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is more commercialized and offers better accommodation facilities.

Both treks are easily accessible from Pokhara, making them convenient choices for trekkers. Mohare Danda is ideal for those who prefer a quieter, cultural experience and wish to support local communities. However, if you prioritize comfort and a shorter trek with luxury, Poon Hill is a better option.
