The scenic 7-8-hour drive follows the Prithivi Highway to Galchi (956m) and the Pasang Lhakpa Highway towards Syabrubesi. The road along the Trishuli River passes through terraced farmlands and small towns like Trishuli Bazaar, Bidur, and Dhunche. Today, the trek begins as you leave Syabrubesi and follow the flat trail alongside the Langtang River. After ascending gradually for 3-4 hours, the trail leads to Bamboo(1970m) via Pahiro (1550m) for lunch.

Bamboo is a favoured lunch spot along the riverbank, providing a lovely atmosphere.

After lunch, the trek continues ascending through the dense forest of bamboo and rhododendrons, offering the opportunity to witness other flora and fauna. Crossing the various suspension and wooden bridges, the 2-3 hour walk takes you to the Lama Hotel.

Lama Hotel is a popular campsite that offers a few hotels with limited services. Electricity and a network are not available here.

A day starts with breakfast at around 7 AM and the trek at 8 AM. The Langtang trekking trail follows an ascending trail through a dense forest of rhododendrons and oaks. After walking around 2 hours, you reach the Godatabela(3020m), a popular rest stop where your permits are checked.

From here, the trek continues, following the trail, offering the spectacular views of Langtang Lirung (7227 m) and other peaks before reaching Thangsyhap(3240m) for lunch. Enjoy lunch in the natural scenery before heading towards the newly built Langtang Village.

Along the way, witness the old Langtang Village, which was highly affected by an earthquake in 2015. Now, the lifestyle of Langtang Village is back to normal, welcoming thousands of tourists. Upon reaching the Langtang village, stroll around and experience the local lifestyle and culture.

Kyanjin Gompa is the last stop in the Langtang Valley. All the trekkers stay overnight here before hiking towards Tserko Ri and Kyanjin Ri. This small village on the lap of mountains offers well-equipped hotels, restaurants, and cafes for tourists.

Upon reaching Kyanjin, rest for a while and enjoy your lunch in the beautiful surroundings. After lunch, take a short hike to Lower Kyanjin Peak to acclimate your body to higher altitudes. Spending the remaining day, visiting the Kyanjin Monastery, a traditional cheese factory, and the nearby Langtang Glacial Lake.
