Pathways to Reach Khopra Danda
Your Khopra Danda adventure starts upon your arrival in Nepal. The next day, take an early morning bus to the beautiful lake city, of Pokhara. From here, the 1-hour 30-minute jeep drive takes you to the Phedi(822m), the actual starting point of the Khopra Danda Trek. The trek begins along the lush green forest to Deurali and ascends through the small settlements to Jhinu Danda(1780m). Jhinu Danda Hot Spring is a popular spot for trekkers, allowing them to relax tiredness in natural hot water.
After enjoying the moment at Jhinu hot spring, the trek continues following the ascended trail along the forest to Tadapani(2630m). Continuing the trek, the trail leads to Bayeli Kharka(3450m), offering beautiful mountain views and landscapes. Then, walking through the ridge the trail heads to Khopra Danda(3660m), offering stunning views of mountain peaks such as Nilgiri (7,061m), Bhara Shikhar(7,647m), Annapurna South(7219m), Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna IV(7525m), Machapuchare (6,997m), Dhaulagiri I (8167m) and many more.
The next day, enjoy the magical sunrise from the Khopra Danda before hiking toward the holy, sacred Khayer Lake, elevated at 4660m. Spend a brief time exploring the Lake, and return to the Khopra Danda for a night's stay. From here, the returning journey follows the same trail to Bayeli Kharka and heads to the culturally rich Ghandruk Village(1940m). Continue the trek descending through the terrace farmlands and forest to Nayapul(1070m), from where a private jeep will transfer you to the hotel inPokhara(820m). After spending and exploring the vibrant streets of Lakeside, the next day takes a 7-8 hours bus drive to Kathmandu.
