Langtang Circuit Trekking Itinerary
Your Langtang adventures start from Kathmandu with a scenic 7-8-hour drive to Syabrubesi, the point to start a trek. The next day, the trek begins ascending through the Bahun Danda to charming Tamang Village, Gatlang. Explore Gatlang’s culture and lifestyle before heading towards Tatopani via Chilime Village. From Tatopani, the trekking trail heads to Thuman, passing the Nagthali(3300m), a popular viewpoint of the Tamang Heritage Trail. From here, the trek continues through the dense forest towards Briddim.
Leaving the Tamang Heritage trail, the trek continues and joins the main trekking route of Langtang Valley Trekat Rimche. Then the trek passes through the Lama Hotel, Ghoda Tabela, and Langtang Village, the trail leads to Kyajin Gompa. Explore the Kyanjin Monastery, Cheese factory, and Glacial Lake, and hike up to Lower Kyanjin Peak(4300m) for acclimatization. The next day, in the early morning, embark on a hike to the Tserko Ri(5033m), which offers stunning panoramic views of mountain peaks such as Langtang Lirung(7227m), Langtang Ri(7205m), Yala Peak (5520m), Naya Khang (5844m), Shishapangma (8027m)and many more.
The return journey retraces the trail to Bamboo (1970m). From here, following Langtang Gosaikunda Trekking trail the trek ascends towards Gosakunda Lake(4380m), passing through Cholang Pati and Lauribina.
After exploring the pristine Gosaikunda Lake, the trek continues towards another holy lake, Suryakunda (4610m) before descending towards Phedi. Continuing the trek, the trail along the dense forest takes you to Tharepati (3690m), popular for stunning sunrise and sunset views. From Thareparti(3653m), join the Helamlbu trekking route and continue through Kutumsang, Chipling, and Chisapani, passing the dense forest and terrace farmlands.
From Chisapani, enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains before concluding the trek with 3 3-hour downhill hike to Sundarijal.
Who can do this Trek?
