8-Day Tsho Rolpa Trek Itinerary Route Map
The adventurous journey to the hidden valley of Rolwaling starts from Kathmandu(1400m) with an early morning bus drive. The scenic 6-7 hours bus drive along the Araniko Highway leads through Dhulikhel, Dolalghat, and Charikot to Chetchet(1400m). From here, start your challenging uphill hike for 2 hours to Simi Gaun(2019m) for a night's stay. The next day, the trek continues early, following the ascent through dense forest to Kyalche and eventually towards Dongdang(2800m), the initial point of Rolwaling Valley. From here, the trek continues through the trail inside the forest of rhododendrons, crossing several wooden and suspension bridges with a glimpse of Gaurishankar(7145m), before reaching Beding.
Upon reaching Beding(3690m), explore the largest village in Rolwaling valley before hiking for 2-3 hours towards Naa Gaun(4183m). Next day, wake up early before dawn and start a hike towards the ultimate destination, Tsho Rolpa Lake at 4580m.
