Day 1:Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 meters /4592 feet)

The flight into Kathmandu offers views of the valley below and the Himalayan ranges towering above. Once you arrive, you’ll be driven to your hotel by one of our team members later in the evening you’ll have a brief meeting regarding the trip and your trekking guide will check all the equipment which is required then in the evening you will be taken at Nepali Restaurant for Nepali typical Thakali thali set which will be a different test.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to SyabruBesi (1,550 m): 145 km/7 hours’ drive

After your early morning breakfast, your trip will start the first day of your journey with a drive north out of Kathmandu Valley towards SyabruBesi, through rust-colored settlements, traditional terraced fields, and scenic mountain slopes. Once you reach SyabruBesi head towards your accommodation explore the village and chill for the evening.

Day 3: SyabruBesi to Lama Hotel (2,380 m): 5/6 hours trek

The first day of your trek starts today, so wake up early then have breakfast and head out on the trail, the trail passes alongside the river, walking through a densely forested route lined with rhododendrons and oak trees, ascending to Lama Hotel. While you walking you can take a break any time anywhere when required and you will have a lunch break at Bamboo after your lunch slowly you will climb to Lama Hotel which is a very small town that has only a few hotels where you can take a short break then you will move to continue to Ghodatabela from inside the jungle which will be a memorable walk then will reach to Ghodatabela where you will spend your night.

Day 4: Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3,430 m): 6/7 hours trek

The valley widens as you approach Ghodatabela, from there, the route winds alongside streams up to Langtang Village, a rural setting, with grain fields and yak pasture lands. Langtang Village little bigger than other villages in this area and where you can explore Tibetan culture, local lifestyle, the Cheese Factory, and dress up of local people which will make your special day.

Day 5: Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 m): 3/4 hours trek

Start your trek after early morning breakfast, you’ll be hiking alongside the massive Mani wall and eventually reach Mundu village, from here pass-through various streams and panoramic view of the mountains, and after a short walk along this path, you’ll reach the settlement of Kyangjin Gompa.  After checking in, relax and have lunch at your tea house before visiting the cheese factory or exploring the village and hiking.

Day 6:Day trip to Tserko Ri (5033 m) and back to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 m): 7/8 hours trek

Today you’ll be ascending Tserko Ri, so wake up as early as possible have a light breakfast, and take some lunch pack because today’s hike is a little longer and you will not get anything on the way to Tserko RI. After that head towards the trail. Tserko Ri is a vantage point at an altitude of 5033 meters boasting views of Tsergo Yala Peak at 5,520 m, and Langtang Ri at 7,205 m. Langtang Lirung 7,227 m, Naya Khang 5,844m. Langshisha Ri Peak (6 427 m), and the magnificent valley down below. After spending a brief time at the Ri head towards Kyanjin Gompa then just chill your day as a rest day.

Day 7 :Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2,380 m): 5/6 hours trek

After your early morning breakfast head to words to Lama Hotel, today hike as long as you’ll have to retrace your steps back to Lama Hotel passing through Langtang village and other settlements, the trail is covered with alpine woodland and beautiful wildflower carpet stretching across the valley floor, following the Langtang Khola, hike via Mundu and then to Ghodatabela and continue downwards until you reach Lama Hotel.

Day 8:Lama Hotel to SyabruBesi 4/5 hours trek

Retrace your steps back to Syabrubesi after your delicious breakfast, cross the woodlands and follow the river, and travel past the Chilime Hydropower Plant at Sherpa Gaon, from here follow the trail till you reach the village of SyabruBesi.

Walking Duration: 4-5 hours 

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Accommodation: Dunche Hotel

Day 9: Drive back to Kathmandu. 6/7 hours drive

Return to Kathmandu, arriving in Kathmandu check into your hotel in the evening, and attend a special farewell dinner to acknowledge the end of your Langtang adventure with our staff.

Best Time to Travel & Weather Condition:

Spring (March to May) and autumn (mid-September to November) are the best times to trek to Langtang Kyangjin Gompa Trek. In spring, the foothills are ablaze with wildflowers, rhododendron blossoms, and orchids hanging from branches, the weather is dry and clear during this season, making it ideal for trekking and exploring the breathtaking scenery of the mountains.
