Itinerary

Day 1:Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 meters /4592 feet)

The flight into Kathmandu with a panoramic view of the valley below and the Himalayan ranges towering above the clouds is stunning. Once you land and check out from the Tribhuvan International Airport our agent will greet and welcome you, and drive you to your hotel, later on, in the evening you will be introduced to your guide then you’ll be assisted with all of your travel requirements for the trek after when done this will move for welcome dinner where you will have typical Thakali Thali set which will be a different experience for you.

Day 2: Sightseeing Tour and Trip Preparation Day

After early morning breakfast, will move to the Kathmandu city tour. The valley of Kathmandu has many places to visit which are very interesting and you will explore so many places and things.so, we will take you sightseeing in the heritage sites of Nepal along with a tour guide.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani (1,960m/6,431ft) - 9 to 10 hours

Today you’ll be leaving Kathmandu early in the morning for Dharapani village, which is located in the Annapurna area in the western part of Nepal, the long road journey will take you on the Prithvi Highway, along the Trishuli River and parallels the Marsyangdi River. Along the drive, you’ll see waterfalls, hills overlaying hills, colorful settlements, and mountains with dramatic changes in the landscape.

As you reach Dharapani, get some much-needed rest after the long and exhausting travel, later in the afternoon relax or go for a stroll around the village.

Day 4: Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2,710m/8,892ft) - 6 to 7 hours

The trek from Dharapani to Chame is a scenic 6 to 7-hour journey through the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal. This approximately 21-kilometer trek encompasses picturesque villages, river crossings, and gradual elevation gain. Passing through Timang and Pisang, trekkers experience a diverse landscape before reaching Chame. The trail offers breathtaking views of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal, making it a captivating leg of the Annapurna Circuit.

As you reach Dharapani, get some much-needed rest after the long and exhausting travel, later in the afternoon relax or go for a stroll around the village.

Day 5: Trek from Chame to Lower Pisang (3,300m/10,827ft) - 5 to 6 hours

The trip today is thrilling, after your early morning breakfast, you’ll start by trekking from Chame to Bhartang, following the river and passing through verdant pastures before entering a deep pine forest and continuing your hike to Dhukur Pokhari, and taking a downward trail to Lower Pisang, passing roaring rivers, waterfalls, and grass fields along the way.

Day 6:Trek from Lower Pisang to Manang (3,519m/11,546ft) - 6 to 7 hours

After your early morning breakfast, we will start to move to today’s destination Manang, Upper Pisang is just around a hundred meters in altitude than Lower Pisang and you’ll be passing by small passageways and wooden houses and lodges on stone stairs. Annapurna II and the surrounding mountains can be seen from the settlement. Head to Ghyaru after having a break at Upper Pisang Pass through lovely Mani walls adorned with inscriptions and chants. Gyaru appears laid back in time, with old stone tablets lining alleyways and dwellings.

Day 7 :Acclimatization and Rest Day in Manang (4600m)

Today is your acclimatization day in Manang, proper acclimatization is necessary to avoid altitude sickness, so after your breakfast, you may climb up to the Ice Lake (Kicho Tal), or Gangapurna lake, which is Manang’s primary tourist attraction, or to any vantage point around the settlement.

Day 8:Trek from Manang to Ledar (4,200m/13,780ft) - 4 to 5 hours

After early morning breakfast start your trek to Leder, the vistas of highlands become visible as you go across the treeline, and after a steady climb, you’ll reach Yak Kharka from here passing through high-altitude birch forest you’ll arrive at Leder.  Leder has a camping spot in the open highlands. After you get some rest, hike up to the viewpoint to witness the sights of the high-standing mountains.

Day 9: Trek from Leder to Chulu West Base Camp (4,900m/16,077ft) - 4 to 5 hours

After your early morning breakfast, you’ll be ascending a rugged and steep terrain today, as the height rises and the landscape gets harsher, the route becomes more difficult, so take steps with caution. All along the trail, you’ll notice small Chorten till the Chulu West Base Camp campground.

Day 10: Rest and Acclimatization Day at Camp I

Today is the second day of acclimatization, your climbing leader will provide you with all the climbing instructions. Harnesses, crampons, ice axes, ropes, and other technical climbing equipment uses will be demonstrated by the leader.

After the excursion relaxes with the views of the Annapurna range and Thorong Peak seen from Camp I.

Day 11: Climb from Camp I to Camp II (5,530m/18,144ft) - 4 to 5 hours

Today as you make your way to Camp II, the climb officially begins, as the weather can degrade as the day goes by, you’ll have to climb early in the morning before sunrise. As you ascend, the path becomes steeper and snowier, follow the rope set out by your team, as well as your climbing leader’s instructions. You’ll arrive at Camp II, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 12: Summit Chulu West Peak (6,419m/21,061ft) and Back to Camp I - 9 to 10 hours

You’ll reach the summit of Chulu West Peak today, make an early morning climb for the summit to escape the severe wind during the day. Follow your climbing leader’s directions. As you ascend higher, you may suffer shortness of breath, but continue and take modest steps and frequent rest till you reach the peak of Chulu West Peak.

Relax and take in the breathtaking sights from the summit. The peaks of Annapurna II, III, IV, Manaslu, Pisang Peak, Gangapurna, and Chulu East are visible from here, on the east side, the valley of Himlung can be seen. Slowly return to camp I afterward.

Day 13: Trek from Camp I to Thorong Phedi(4450m/14,596ft) - 6 to 7 hours

Early morning after breakfast, the first part of your journey will take you to Ledar from here then trek to Throng Phedi, through over alpine landscape. The way is a little dry and windy but it is flat and very easy to walk, then overnight at Throng Phedi.

Day 14: Trek from Phedi to Muktinath (3750m) via Throng-La pass (5416m) 9 – 10 hours

After your early morning breakfast will start to walk around at 4 am, due to the high elevation we have to walk very slowly with the same mutations as your guide, while passing Throng-La there is no place for lunch/food break so we will carry some pack lunch from Throng Phedi, normally it will take around 4-5hrs to summit the throng top, and the way is slightly uphill when we summit the Throng-La top we will take a short break for few photos for your memorable moments After when you have done on the top some activity you will start to walk downhill till Muktinath which will take around 4-5hrs then will reach in next Himalayan district which calls Mustang and it is a massive beautiful place to explore about a different culture, society, religions, lifestyle many more things.

Day 15: Drive from Muktinath (3750m) to Pokhara (822m) 8-9 hours

Bid farewell to the lovely Muktinatah village and the Annapurna region, pack up your belongings, say goodbye to the friendly locals, and then start the journey, The drive is amazing, with views of the blue and swiftly flowing Kali Gandaki River and witness views of vast terraced fields, hills, and scattered settlements along the Baglung Highway. Upon reaching Pokhara will transfer to your hotel and you will chill at Pokhara and take a rest.

Day 16: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

After your early morning breakfast, you will transfer to the tourist bus station and will take the tourist bus to Kathmandu, the drive is amazing, with views of the blue and swiftly flowing Trisuli River and witness views of vast terraced fields, hills, and scattered settlements along the Prithvi Highway which takes 6-7 hours. Upon reaching Kathmandu will transfer to your hotel and you will chill at Thamel Kathmandu and can take a rest, and shop for the family then in the evening we will have a farewell dinner by sharing the happiness and sadness of your trip.

Day 17: Final Departure

Spring (March to May) and autumn (mid-September to November) are the best times to trek to Chulu West Peak Climbing. In spring, the foothills are ablaze with wildflowers, rhododendron blossoms, and orchids hanging from branches, the weather is dry and clear during this season, making it ideal for trekking and exploring the breathtaking scenery of the mountains.
