While trekking in this region you’ll get a chance to have a panoramic view of mountains, meet local people and see their culture. During Everest Trekking in Nepal, you will have to first land in Lukla airport also known as Tenzing Hilary Airport. There’s is the Namche Bazaar which is the main area for travelers. Namche Bazaar is also the main trading area.

You will have a one day rest at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization. On the day of acclimatization, normally all the travelers visit Khumjung Valley which is also known as “Hidden Valley”. From there you can see Hilary School which was made by Sir Edmund Hilary. Also, there is Khumjung Monastery from where we can see the scalp of “Yeti” as well.

On the way to your trekking there you can see Yaks carrying baggage which is the only transportation means there in the Himalayas. Along the way, you will be resting at lodges and tea houses. Remember, in some places you have to pay extra money to use the internet and for an international call if necessary. Talking about meals, you’ll get normal local food and different varieties of foods as your desire like pizza, pasta, macaroni, yak burgers, etc, which can be chosen from the menu at your tea house or lodges. We have included accommodation, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, one cup of tea or coffee in each meal during your trek.

Best Time For Everest Trekking in Nepal

March, April, May, and September, October, November are the best time for these treks. During this period weather are very clear which makes you see the panoramic views better and the trekking routes will be clear too. The temperature will be normal during these seasons which makes your trek easier and comfortable.

Talking about altitude sickness you don’t have to worry. We have made our itinerary in such a way that you will get proper acclimatization. Even so, if you suffer from altitude sickness then we have our guide who will take care of you. We provide you with trained and experienced guides. In case of an emergency evacuation, we can call a helicopter but remember for the evacuation, you have to pay an extra amount or you can use your travel insurance.
