The flight into the Himalayas reveals scenic and breathtaking views of the Himalayan Mountains of the world. If weather permits you will able to see Mt Everest (8848m, 29,198ft) and other Himalayan mountain ranges. (if you are flying from Kathmandu), but particularly exciting is the approach through the Bhutanese foothills and the landing, including a few steep turns to land at the tiny airstrip of Paro. Upon arrival in Paro, clear customs and immigration. Keep your copy of the visa clearance letter handy. You will be received by your Bhutanese guide and transferred to sightseeing and hotel accordingly.
