2. Ghorepani – Poon Hill Trek

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is a great alternative to Annapurna Base Camp Trek. It is a perfect choice for those wanting to experience trekking in the Annapurna region but doesn’t have enough time to go for a full Annapurna Base Camp trek.

The trek takes around a week to complete and is one of the most picturesque treks in Nepal. Similarly, you will be moving through Gurung settlements. Gurung is the native of the region, and they have a unique culture and very delicious food exclusive to their Local Authentic. The trip allows you to pass through rhododendron forests, mountain villages, and bamboo forests. In addition, you will get a stunning view of Fishtail Mountain, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri.

3. Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Annapurna Base Camp Trek is the most popular trek in Nepal. It is one of the most beautiful and varied hikes. The trek takes you through all kinds of climate zones except the tropics. The major highlight of the ABC trek is the Annapurna Sanctuary which lies between the peaks of Annapurna. You can reach the sanctuary within five days of walking. 

4. Langtang Trek

From Kathmandu, Langtang Valley is one of the nearest treks. The trek offers alpine trekking running from east to west, only a few miles away from the Tibetan border. Langtang Trek is a short trek that you can complete within a week. However, don’t underestimate this trek because of its low duration. The trek offers you astonishing views of the mountains, not only of Nepal but also of Tibet. Manaslu region has everything that can make it one of the best trekking regions of Nepal. It has the beauty of the Nepalese countryside surrounded by rice fields and forests. Similarly, you can get a magnificent panorama of the majestic Himalayas.

6. Upper Mustang Trek

Upper Mustang Trek is the complete opposite compared to other trekking trails in Nepal. The trail lies between Ocher cliffs, fairy chimneys, and Buddhist monasteries. It has remained authentic and wild as it was a different kingdom recently. The trail doesn’t see snow; rather, it is kind of a desert.

7. Dhaulagiri Trek

Dhaulagiri Massif is one of the most beautiful mountains in the world. The trek takes you through the isolated region of Dhaulagiri. This trek allows you to enjoy a varied and diverse nature. Similarly, you will be moving through the bamboo forest, pine trees and passing through glacial rivers. The trek is mostly for experienced hikers wanting to venture on a high-altitude Himalayan trekking route. As the difficulty of this trek is great, novices are not allowed on this trail. Also, it is one of the longest trails that can take up to 20 days.

Everest Base Camp Trek is the trek that every trekker dreams of. Although we have kept it in the eighth spot, it is the most popular trek in the whole world. However, due to its popularity, the trek is crowded almost all time of the year. Furthermore, in peak season, you might not even get to enjoy the trip properly with many people traveling around.

However, in the case of natural and cultural beauty, it is definitely on the top. The trek begins with a scenic flight to Lukla and passes through Namche, Tengboche, Dingboche, EBC, and Kalapatthar.

9. The Kanchenjunga Trek

The Kanchenjunga trek is another trek with hard difficulty. Mt. Kanchenjunga is the third-highest mountain in the world. This exceptional trek goes through the far east, a remote and wild region dominated by Kangchenjunga. The trek takes around 21 days to complete and passes through rice fields, jungle, alpine pastures, and glacial valleys, highlighting the magnificent belvederes of Oktang and Pang Pema.

10. Khumbu Three Passes Trek

Khumbu Three Passes Trek is an adventure-filled trip that is also very underrated. The trek takes you through the Khumbu valley while admiring high passes and enjoying magnificent views of Himalayan peaks: Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Makalu.
