The Rara Lake Helicopter Tour starts from Kathmandu domestic airport in the north-western part of the country. An around 40 minutes flight will take you to Nepalgunj. At the Nepalgunj airport, you will have a brief stop, of around 25 to 30 mins. After a refueling break, hop on the helicopter and head towards Rara lake. The flight takes you across southern plains, lush dense woodlands, and towards the high alpine territory. As you approach rara witness the mesmerizing views of the raw beauty of the region, the blue lake and green pine forest is a sight you will never forget. Upon landing at Rara head out and sit beside the pristine waters and enjoy the view. After exploring the region head back towards Nepalgunj and towards Kathmandu.
