Nepal Arrival Requirement for travelers

People all around the world are not able to travel as they used to before COVID 19 crisis. Everyone was stuck in one place and has a fear to be infected. There was lockdown for years and years and traveling was difficult. There were made a lot of rules and requirements for travelers if they want to visit other countries.

Now, since there has been reported that the COVID 19 is slowly falling many countries open their door for travelers. Many countries changed rules for easy traveling so that travelers will feel easy while traveling.

Nepal Removing Pre-arrival test requirements

Now, Nepal also has removed the pre-arrival test requirement for travelers for ease of traveling. All they have to do is just show their vaccinated card and they are welcome. The quarantine requirement has also been suspended for now.  But, for those who are not vaccinated or only had only one jab of dose, they will have to show the PCR Test Report not more than 76 hours.

At the entry point, travelers still have to fill out the travelers form issued by COVID 19 Crisis Management Coordinator Center Management (CCMCC).

“The need to fill out the form will stay because the coronavirus outbreak in many countries is not yet over, and we have to do contact tracing,” said Sunita Nepal, Spokesperson for the CCMCC which helps for easy travel.

In the case of filling a form, there were a lot of complaints saying it was long and complex which was difficult. So overlooking all those complaints now the form has been simplified.

Traveler Leaving Nepal

Those travelers who are leaving Nepal are advised to check with airlines as it is required for informing them about the health protocols. And, paperwork requirement in the destination countries, said Bhattarai.
